Patagonia

First time visiting South America and starting with Patagonia lays the bar quite high.

Details

Visit: October 2nd - 26th 2013

Season: Spring

Start / End: Puerto Montt, Chile / Punta Arenas, Chile

Border crossings Chile/Argentina: 4

Transport: Rental Car (One Way)

Still haven't come back to this part of the World, but I do look at the pictures quite often and like to remember the 3.5 weeks I've spent in the southern parts of Chile and Argentina.

It's still one of the most impressive trips I've had and I really wish to come back some time (as usual), although I couldn't imagine it better than in 2013. I assume it's much more crowded today, but travelling might also be a lot easier at least from a language perspective. Not because I've learned Spanish recently, but with the Internet and Apps for translation it would have been a little less "adventurous". I'd also slow it down a little to give exploration and photography more time at all the beautiful spots.
