Tour du Mont Blanc
Due to travel restrictions during Covid it was a bit more complicated to decide on travel plans for 2021. Eventually, we decided to go hiking again, similar to 2020, but instead of day hikes we took on a bigger challenge: the Tour du Mont Blanc.
The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 165km long hike around the highest mountain in the area: Mont Blanc. It is a very popular hike because it’s well maintained, there are lots of places to stay and obviously the views are amazing every day of the hike. Usually, people do it in 10 days, but you can go faster or slower as you want, and depending on your budget there are lots of hotels or camping grounds at different price levels to stay at.
Since it was our first multi day hike and it was only a few months left, we decided to go with a company that pre books all accomodation and takes your luggage from hotel to hotel, so you only have to carry things you need for the day.
